RCMｰ649 Z1000MK2（その２）です！

This is the RCM-649 Z1000MK2 (Part 2) ordered by Mr. John Lewis from Australia!

前回に引き続き、フレームを加工中。

Continuing from last time, we are processing the frame.

新型のリアサスレイダウン治具を用いて、フレームに正確な穴を開けます。

Using the new rear suspension laydown jig, we drill precise holes in the frame.

左右同じ位置に精度良く開けた穴へ、リアサスマウントを挿入して外側から
治具で固定しました。

Insert the rear suspension mounts into the precisely drilled holes at the same positions on both sides, and secure them from the outside using a jig.

新型レイダウン治具は、外側からサスマウントを固定したまま最後まで
溶接を完了できるのが最大の利点です。

The biggest advantage of the new laydown jig is that it allows us to complete the welding while securing the mount from the outside.

リアサスのレイダウン加工は、左右マウントの位置や角度など精度が重要。
専用治具を使って加工しないと曖昧でいい加減な精度になってしまうので、
治具は絶対に必要不可欠なんです。

Precision is crucial for the laydown processing of the rear suspension, including the mount positions and angles on both sides. Without using a dedicated jig, the precision would be vague and unreliable, so the jig is indispensable.

間もなくフレームの加工が完了しますが、同時進行でエンジンも分解。
このフレームとエンジンの最初に行う下準備は意外に時間が掛かるもので、
地味な工程ですが結構大変なんです。

The frame processing will be completed shortly, and at the same time, the engine is also being disassembled. The preparation for this frame and engine takes a surprisingly long time, and although it’s an unassuming process, it is actually quite demanding.
